What version of Adobe Reader to choose?

The free Adobe Reader is available in versions to suit various operating systems and computers of various ages.

Modern computer – broadband connection

If you are on a fast Internet connection such as broadband and have a computer running Windows XP or later then we recommend getting the latest version of Adobe Reader.

Older computer or dialup connection

As with most software the newer the version the larger the file size because of extras that are added over time.

If you are on a slow Internet connection such as dialup or are running an operating system older than Windows XP we recommend that you get an earlier version of Adobe Reader.

The Stitching Cards pattern files will open in Adobe Reader from version 5 up to the latest version available.
